EMH Virtual Voter Registration Party Event Overview
Empower My Hood Inc. will be hosting a Virtual Voter Registration Party on Wednesday, August 21st from 7 PM - 9 PM EST.
This event is intended to inform young voters about the voting process. Provide a general overview of voting, which will include political parties & associated platforms, voting process & registration, 2024 election dates, Primary election & positions (Councilmember, Senator, Representative etc.), Presidential Election. This event is open to all young voters, ages 18-30, as well as High School Students ages 16-17 who are interested in learning more about the voting process.
THE THIRD ANNUAL SOUTHEAST QUEENS COLLEGE FAIR
The Third Annual Southeast Queens College Fair is a free event designed to help the youth of our community explore potential higher education opportunities. Our intention for this event is to expose community youth to various colleges and universities to learn about the array of educational programs and/or opportunities available to students seeking higher education. Participants will have the opportunity to meet with college representatives, take part in workshops and seminars, and gain valuable insight into post-secondary educational pathways.
